1. What is the hail damage process at Aussie RVs? 

    The claims process is the same whether you have damage because of an accident or whether you have been caught in a hailstorm. 

    1. Customer lodges a claim with their insurer, nominating Aussie RVs as their repairer of choice.  (The customer has choice of repairer)
    2. Customer calls Aussie RVs on 1800 287 787 to arrange an assessment of their caravan.
    3. Aussie RVs carry’s out an inspection of the caravan, noting parts which have been damaged, and taking the required images for the insurer.
    4. Aussie RVs obtains parts pricing, availability and submits the quote to the insurer for them to carry out their assessment.
    5. If repairs are authorised, Aussie RVs contacts the customer to arrange a convenient book in date for the repairs. 


  2. How soon can I get my Caravan Back?

    This is dependent upon the severity of damage to the caravan.  If your caravan has been Hail damaged and requires a complete re-sheet, Aussie RVs usually requires your caravan for approximately 7 – 10 working days. 

    For other damage, a timeframe can be provided to you by the Production Manager at the time of booking in your repairs. 

    For our customers who permanently reside in their caravan, Aussie RVs can also provide a loan van whilst the repairs are being carried out if one is available.
